Frank Defesche


As senior vice president and general manager of Vault QualityOne, Frank is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and customer success of Veeva's quality applications outside life sciences.

Since 1999, Frank has provided strategic guidance and services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms. An early cloud pioneer, he has managed hundreds of cloud implementations and brings a wealth of knowledge on how to evaluate, deliver, and support cloud technology.

Frank joined Veeva in 2008 to build its professional services function. Prior, he spent eight years at where he began as one of the company's first consultants and went on to hold various product management and sales positions. Before joining, Frank worked at Dell and Trilogy Software.

Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Mike Jovanis


As vice president for strategy of Vault QualityOne, Mike is responsible for product strategy, customer engagement, and business development. He has spent over 15 years developing and designing quality solutions.

Before Veeva, Mike served as vice president of product management and strategy for Sparta Systems. While at Sparta, he was instrumental in the company's rapid growth, driving product development, vertical market strategy, and strategic partner alliances. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rutgers Business School and an MBA in strategy and global business from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.

Sandeep Chopra


As vice president of product management for Vault QualityOne, Sandeep is responsible for the product roadmap, design, and delivery of Vault QualityOne. He has over ten years of experience in managing enterprise software products focused on risk management and compliance, and has previously led product teams at MobileIron, Deloitte and NextLabs. Sandeep has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of California at Davis, where he was also a Regents Scholar. 

Greg Harbin


As director of sales for Veeva Vault QualityOne, Greg is responsible for managing global sales efforts and building strategic relationships with leading companies across multiple verticals.  

Greg is an experienced executive who has spent over 15 years in enterprise software sales, most of which focused on mobile multi-tenant cloud based technologies. Before assuming his current role, Greg spent four years managing some of Veeva’s most strategic global client relationships. 

Prior to Veeva, Greg spent over a decade managing strategic accounts at Salesforce and Skura Corporation. Greg has a unique ability to build successful long-term client relationships.

Patrick Goldate

Senior Director, Vault Platform Services

As senior director of Vault Platform Services, Patrick is responsible for the services delivery, growth, and customer success of Vault Platform.

Since 2000, Patrick has provided strategic guidance and implementation services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms.

Patrick joined Veeva in 2010 as part of Veeva’s professional services organization. Prior, Patrick worked with Fujitsu Consulting, where he managed and lead implementations to support customers’ needs in CRM, multichannel marketing, financial management, data warehouse design, and enterprise reporting. Before working at Fujitsu Consulting, Patrick worked at CIT and PDI, Inc.

Ed Van Siclen


Leveraging 25 years of executive and business development experience, Ed serves as vice president for Vault QualityOne business development. In this role, Ed is responsible for framing and execution of Veeva’s strategy to expand its market footprint outside of the life sciences industry.

Ed brings significant experience helping businesses gain traction and drive growth within new markets by focusing on customer success. Prior to joining Veeva, Ed led sales, marketing and business development functions at ClearCare, a vertical SaaS company servicing the home care market. At ClearCare, Ed managed the end-to-end business development processes from demand generation to contract close. Ed has also held sales leadership roles at several technology companies, including Legato Systems, Tivoli Systems, BEA, Adobe, and Salesforce.
